Poem # 3 in this creative journey. It's been a process of deepening into all that I've been building. Showing up consistently on social media is something I'm still finding my way into. When I'm doing it for my art it feels like there's value in it even if just a few people are finding it at the moment. It's a building process. You're witnessing me real time build my career. I'm taking this over the top. Steady on the path that I've already been trekking.

If you're here collecting you're not at the beginning of my career you're at the mid point where it takes off. I've got 20 year back catalog of writing. I could never write again and I would have an epic catalog fit for the ages. I've barely started in someways but been at it forever in others.

This is establishing an art career that will span the rest of my life.

Now it's just leaning into it. There's no pressure just execution. I'm here to help show there's a new possibility for artists. I've been living into this possibility for 17 years. I dropped out of an MFA poetry program when a professor told the class there's no way any of you can have a career from your own original work, not because of a lack of skill but from a lack of viable industry and systems support.

Now the digital era is maturing into a different era. Metalabel is an example of a platform that is building with creatives in mind in a way that empowers instead of extracts from them. Building on it is something I can feel good about at every level. With the goal being a working artist it becomes really achievable with a consistent collector development process. As a poet my overhead on my work is a pen and paper. So even a few thousand collectors for a low hanging fruit offer and I'll be making enough to cover my bills and commit full time to my creative work.

This post-it note campaign is the long tail project to get my audience activated By collecting you're getting in on the ground floor of this next phase of my creative development. The foundation below deck is 22 years of creative development in theater, improv, freestyle, community development and entrepreneurship.
